About Me

Hi! My name is Lauren Chapman. I was born and raised in a suburb right outside of Augusta, GA called Evans. I've always loved writing since I was little. Outside of writing, I love reading, cooking and traveling. 

I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2025. My goal is to work for a magazine or a newspaper. My favorite type of journalism is either social justice, fashion or entertainment.

My most valued skills are my ability to make infographics and pull interesting quotes out of my interviewees.

I commit to telling the stories of marginalized voices in my writing in a respectful and insightful way. I will center humans that are right in the middle of the social issues that affect them.
